Caring for rare and native breeds isn’t just something we do, it’s something we truly believe in. These animals play a vital role in protecting our future, helping to preserve genetic diversity, strengthen our food systems, and ensure resilience as our environment changes. By supporting them, we’re not just looking after animals, we’re helping to safeguard generations to come.

Of course… it definitely helps that they’re irresistibly adorable. Our Greyface Dartmoor sheep look just like fluffy teddy bears, and it’s almost impossible not to smile at the joyful hop and skip of a baby goat.

Our farm is home to animals from across the world, from reindeer of Norway to alpacas of Chile. With over fifteen species and more than thirty different breeds, there’s always something new to discover, and an animal for everyone to fall in love with.

We’re especially proud to be home to something truly unique: the only Nigerian Dwarf Goat in the UK. Orion, born in 2024 from imported USA embryos, is already a much-loved part of the farm. Each year in the early summer, we welcome his playful kids, and in 2026 we’re excited to introduce new bloodlines from the USA through AI, continuing our commitment to these remarkable animals.
