Rules of Play

Our Rules of Play

Creating a safer and more enjoyable visit

Children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their wellbeing and behaviour at all times. Windmill Farm Park and its staff do not accept any responsibility for the supervision of children.

This play area is designed for children under 1.45m in height. Adults choose to play at their own risk.

Hands must be washed before entering the play area.

No food or drink should be taken into the play area.

Remove shoes before entering the play areas. Socks must be worn at all times. They can be purchased from reception.

We understand that siblings may want to play together so we encourage adults to keep our Little Bunnies’ area safe and quiet for our younger visitors. We reserve the right to enforce a height restriction during busier times.

Only food and drink purchased in the cafe may be consumed in the play barn. You are welcome to bring picnics and eat at one of the undercover areas. We cater for most allergy and sensory issues, but please speak to a member of staff for help.

Appropriate clothing should be worn at all times. Long sleeved tops and trousers are recommended, especially on the slides. No jewellery, badges or clothes with cord/rope should be worn in the play area.

Fighting or bullying will not be tolerated.

Please use the play areas as intended. Do not climb on or up the slides, netted walls or structure. Do not play directly in front of slides.

Any accidents should be reported to a member of staff, so we can provide assistance and minimise the potential of a reoccurrence. These will be logged and are an important part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe play.

Any damage should be reported to a member of staff.

Any behavioural concerns should be reported to a member of staff; do not intervene yourself.

Children who are unwell should not use the play area; this includes those who have had diarrhoea or vomiting in the last forty-eight hours.

We reserve the right to ask anyone not following these rules to leave the play barn.
