What are your opening times?

Windmill Farm Park is open from 10am to 4pm, with the café and indoor play area closing slightly earlier. We are open daily until 1st September, then re-open for October weekends and October half term. Opening days and times may vary during special events, so we recommend checking our website before visiting.

Where is Windmill Farm Park located?

Windmill Farm Park is located in the South Leicestershire countryside near Kibworth, just a short drive from Leicester and Market Harborough. The address is Langton Road, Kibworth Harcourt, LE8 0PR.

What age is Windmill Farm Park best for?

The farm park is best suited for children aged 1–10, although visitors of all ages enjoy the animals and outdoor spaces.

Do I need to book tickets in advance?

We recommend booking your tickets online in advance to guarantee entry and secure the best price. During busy periods and special events, tickets may sell out.

Are activities included in the ticket price?

Yes! Most of the activities at Windmill Farm Park are included in your entry ticket. This includes meeting the animals, seasonal farm activities, indoor and outdoor play areas, and daily activities.

How long should we allow for our visit?

Most families spend around 3–4 hours enjoying everything the farm has to offer. With animals to meet, play areas to explore, and daily activities taking place, there’s plenty to keep little ones busy.

Is Windmill Farm Park wheelchair and pushchair accessible?

Many areas of the farm are accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with pathways around the main attractions. As we are a working farm, some areas may be uneven or weather-dependent.

Is the farm suitable for visitors with additional needs?

We welcome visitors with additional needs and aim to make the farm an enjoyable experience for everyone. If you have specific requirements, our team will be happy to help. Please get in touch before your visit so we can assist where possible.

Can we bring a picnic?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy during your visit. We also have an on-site café serving freshly prepared food, snacks, and drinks. Please note, we do not allow picnics inside the cafe.

What animals can we see at the farm?

You’ll find over 30 breeds of rare and native animals, including goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and more.

Is there an indoor play area?

Yes, we have an award‑winning indoor play barn where children can climb, crawl, and explore while parents relax nearby.

What happens if it rains?

There is still plenty to enjoy on rainy days. Our large indoor play barn provides a warm and dry place for children to play.

What should we wear when visiting?

Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended. Wellies are helpful during wetter weather.
